AUTISM TESTING IN MARIN COUNTY, CA

Autism Spectrum Brain Differences

CHILDREN

Like other types of assessments, an autism evaluation begins with a conversation. Information needs to be collected about a range of behaviors in different contexts in order to make an accurate diagnosis. You may wish for other people who know your child well (such as teachers or grandparents) to also take part in this important conversation. Together, we'll learn how your child experiences the world and discuss strategies to support his or her future.

ADULTS

If you're wondering about autism as a young adult, know that you're not alone. According to CDC estimates, 1 in 45 people are diagnosed with autism. Seeking an evaluation often begins by asking questions. You may be looking for reasons that social situations feel awkward or uncomfortable. Or perhaps life is going well, but you've always felt different and want to understand the reasons underlying your differences. We'll answer your questions and discuss solutions for your concerns.

COVID-19

Autism evaluations are limited in terms of the types of assessments that can be administered right now remotely due to COVID-19. Feel free to contact me for more information about options available. I’ll be happy to offer referrals if I’m unable to assist at this time.
